After being dubbed ‘the funniest sketch show I’ve seen at the Fringe for years’ (**** Broadway Baby) in 2024 and titled ‘one of the most unique – and hilarious’ (**** Broadway World) sketch shows last year, The Manchester Revue are back for their sixth year at the Fringe, armed with some brand-new sketches.
Dionysus, Greek God of Theatre, is angry. He’s been watching what theatre has become recently, and he’s not happy about it. The only way to stop his wrath is by proving ourselves through the power of sketch comedy! (Obviously)
Join us as we look back on the weird, wacky and wonderful parts of life… and hopefully save the world while we’re at it.
We’re incredibly proud to be the most recent iteration of The Manchester Revue, representing the most promising young talent the University of Manchester has to offer. Student comedy is massively under threat, and increasingly we are being priced out of the Edinburgh Fringe. However, we have been working incredibly hard to ensure young comedians are given a chance to perform, and we are proud to present our newest show at this years fringe.
